AFA Says "Keep your kids home!" on National Day of Silence March 6, 2008

I sign up for the mailing lists of groups like AFA because a sage always says to know thine enemy. And the AFA and Wildmon are my enemy.

The ongoing and relentless hate was spawned by ilk like Wildmon. I’d like to kick his fucking teeth in for this letter. I’m really that pissed off with those assholes at the AFA.

Hutcherson is another one whose smug face I’d like smash in. I’m tired of expending words when it clearly isn’t the path we militant homosexuals should be taking. I say we turn gay bashing to our advantage, and bash the fuck out of these intolerant assholes.

AFA ActionAlert – Please forward this email to your Friends and Family!

If your child’s school observes the homosexual sponsored “Day of Silence,” keep your child at home April 25.

Dear ,

Friday, April 25, several thousand schools across the nation will be observing “Day of Silence (DOS).” DOS is a nationwide push to promote the homosexual lifestyle in public schools.

AFA is joining other family-oriented groups in urging parents to keep their children at home that day if their local school is participating in the DOS project. By remaining silent, the intent of the pro-homosexual students is to disrupt the classes while promoting the homosexual lifestyle.

DOS is sponsored by an activist homosexual group, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). DOS leads the students to believe that every person who identifies as a homosexual, bisexual or cross-dresser is a victim of ongoing, unrelenting harassment and hate. Students are taught that homosexuality is a worthy lifestyle, homosexuality has few or no risks, and individuals are born homosexual and cannot change. Those who oppose such teaching are characterized as ignorant and hateful bigots.

Take Action!

What should parents do? Check with your local school principal to see if your child’s school will be participating in DOS. If the school is participating, notify other parents about DOS and ask them to join in keeping their children out of school on that day.

Here is a partial list of schools which are expected to participate in DOS: If your school is listed, call your local school and ascertain whether they officially or passively allow students to observe “Day of Silence.” If your school is listed, please double-check with your local school to see if the school is actually sponsoring DOS. Sometimes the “participation” turns out to be a handful of kids who are saying they have a homosexual club and are observing this protest day, but without school endorsement. We sincerely hope your school, if listed, is not actually an official sponsor. If it is not, we will take them off the list, if a school official asks us to do so. Please e-mail your correction to editor@missionamerica.com.

Some tips:

1. Be sure of the date that DOS is planned for your school. (The national date is April 25, but some schools observe DOS on a different date.)
2. Inform the school of your intention to keep your child home on that date and explain why. Click here for a sample letter.
3. Explain to your children why you’re taking a stand: Homosexual behavior is not an innate identity; it is a sinful, unnatural and destructive behavior. No school should advance a physically, emotionally, and spiritually destructive sexual lifestyle to students.
4. Encourage your church leadership to follow the bold example of Pastor Ken Hutcherson who is vocally opposing “Day of Silence” in his community in Redmond, Washington. For his story, click here.

Thank you for caring enough to get involved. If you feel our efforts are worthy of support, would you consider making a small tax-deductible contribution? Click here to make a donation.

Homosexuals are nothing but sexual perverts contributing to the downfall of this country and it’s society. Who coined the term homophobia? Who is afraid of some snot dripping mentally and physically dieseased pervert? Hell is where you belong and where you will go as long as you continue to practice perversion. Do you think that by trying to get rights for your practices and getting around legal barriers it will make your practices any less wrong? You fools.

=-=-=-Truthspew Says-=-=-=

I approved this only because I like to demonstrate the attitude of the homophobes out there.

The main thing that caught my eye was the third sentence in the form of a rhetorical question. I will tell him that he’d better be damned afraid of me because I don’t ever stop, ever. I will continue to fight for rights that we should have.

And the fact I don’t believe in heaven or hell should send old Steve the Homophobe into a tailspin.

My practices are not wrong. Your blatant hatred is what is wrong.

Personally, I have nothing against anyone in the LGBT community. I do, however, have a problem when my children are made to feel like outcasts at school because we teach them that homosexuality is not ok. We are a Christian family and America needs to understand that all other religions are not the only ones that are infringed upon in this country. I support the AFA in this action and believe that this type of controversial issue does not need to be forced upon our children. Every family has the right to teach their children as they see fit, this is crossing the line.

Ok, I see your point but the schools are simply teaching tolerance, something Christ himself tried to do and look where he got.

5. Lanie Vondohlen - March 31, 2008

Christ chose to die for us! At any given moment he could of
been delivered from his persecution! Try reading about the
cities of Sodom and Gommorah see where their practices
got them!!!!!!!!! It is terribly sad that we can’t talk about God
in our schools not even “the tolerance” of him, but we can talk
about homosexuality!!!!!

This is a prime example of why America is in the shape it is in!!!

-=-=-=Truthspew Says=-=-=-

Someone can’t see the forest for the trees. America is in the shape it’s in because we let corporations take the reigns.

I’ve read the story. Of course you conveniently forget that the Bible we read today is a translation of the original Greek which was a translation of the Aramaic.

I don’t believe any of it. And you should be ashamed of yourself for pushing your beliefs on your daughter.

I may only be a 12 yr. old girl but I know that this is a wrong disgusting thing that the day of scilence is promotting!!!I am strong in my faith and now that this has gone to far!I’m very proud and happy to say that the majority of my teachers and my principal are also christians. they actually make GOOD differnces in their students lives and they will most definetly not be participating in the day of silence. if me being a sixth grader knows that this is wrong than surely as adults all you people involved in this can realize that this is just NOT right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-=-=-=Truthspew Says-=-=-

Look peaches, you’re only 12 years old. Live a little bit more, get beyond the sixth grade and realize that not everyone is Christian. Tell you what, when you’ve read and analyzed the ENTIRE Bible come back to me. I’ve done so and if anything it’s probably why I’m a flaming Atheist today.

Unfortunately, TOLERANCE of those with abnormal sexual preferences is being replaced with ENCOURAGEMENT, just look on the carnal filth that’s on T.V. To worsen the problem, anyone who is openly opposed to such “alternative” lifestyles is deemed an ignorant bigot. The problem with groups such as GLESN, LGBT, and the “Human Rights” Coalition, is that they seem to have forgotten that those of us in the United States live under majority rule with RESPECT for minority rights – not the other way around. Why should the majority, made up of honest, god fearing people bend to the will of a few hedonistic sodomites / mentally ill (yes, LGBT lifestyles are mental illnesses / disorders – people “can be born” bipolar, schizophrenic, etc. as well.) individuals? I do not support what the day of silence stands for, nor do I condone parents keeping their children from school. Why should a normal child have to sacrifice even a day in his / her valuable educational career? By doing so, those “in protest” feel empowered, as they are eliciting an effect. Don’t pay them any mind. If they wish to be silent, let them be (personally, I’m kind of sick of hearing them talk anyway. 🙂 ).

=-=-=-Truthspew Says=-=-=-
Would you please learn to use a paragraph break!

Anyhow, being glbt is NOT a mental illness, the APA has long since declassified it as such. You’re still listening to the words of the Cameron fellow, you know, the one the APA kicked to the curb and who the licensing authorities censured and then revoked his license to practice.

A few hedonistic sodomites. I love that term but it has very little basis in reality. And yes, you are an ignorant bigot fuckwit! The god fearing thing really amused me, you live your life in fear. Remember the words of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”

Of course when you live life by one book, you’re guilty of using too few sources in your quest for knowledge. And need I mention the other prohibitions in Leviticus to you? After all if you know your Bible so well why don’t you tell me what those other abominations are.

And you do know about Thomas Aquinas right? There was a man who if I had a time machine I’d go back and make sure the asshole was never born.

It’s funny, I don’t see it being overly encouraged. You get one gay kiss on a soap opera and fundamentalist mental defectives like you crawl out of the woodwork screaming about how it’s being shoved in your face. I suppose seeing one guy give a nice sloppy blowjob to another would just make your head explode.

You have an option. Televisions, radios and even the internet all have a common feature. You can shut it off or change channels, web sites, stations, etc. But then you’re borrowing a page from the Parents Television Council, you think that a few individuals flooding the FCC with letters should be how the minority rules the majority.

But people like you would rather bitch and moan in order to get the world to conform to your religious views. Sorry it’s not the 13th century any longer. We’ve made progress. You’re the one that has been left behind.

ignorant assholes. What would keeping your kids home do, nothing.

I fixed hoe to home. Though I should have left it since it was somewhat humorous.
