Letting an ancient run for President March 19, 2008

I was reading about Obama now going after both McCain and Clinton over foreign policy but one little glaring fact in the article stood out.

John McCain is 71 years old. I’m sorry but he’s got what, maybe 3 good years left. I don’t want some doddering old fool as my president.

At least in Obama’s case, he could serve two terms and come out in his 50’s. And Clinton could serve two and come out in her 70’s.

Me, I’m a middle ager like Obama and would prefer my generation to lead among many other reasons. We’ve seen what McCain’s generation is good for.

Let’s look at the other few presidents who were that old:

William Henry Harrison, sworn in when he was 68…caught pneumonia, died a month into his term.

Ronald Reagan: was in his 70’s…oh yeah, we know what a great outstanding example he was!!!

McCain’s too old. Period.

HUGS…

I’d have to agree McCain is too old. I hope he gets the nomination, that would be a great point.
