Would someone please explain to me why the Barack Obama’s former minister Jeremiah Wright story is a big deal, while John McCain’s pastor John Hagee openly advocates war against Iran for fulfillment of biblical prophesy and isn’t taken to task for his words. Bit of a double sword.

This is why I am so terrified of the ultra-religious, in essence they’ll start World War III just to support their own twisted world view. And Hagee isn’t the only one. I’ve mentioned before how my fathers pastor is guilty of using racist tracts. Charming people, I wish I had a daughter so I could forbid her to marry one.

But the shenanigans get really interesting.

Demonstrating how wildly out of the American religious and political mainstream Hagee’s views are, McCain’s acceptance of Hagee’s endorsement was condemned today by conservative William Donohue, president of the Catholic League. Calling Hagee a “bigot,” Donahue said the right-wing pastor has waged “an unrelenting war against the Catholic Church” by “calling it ‘The Great Whore,’ an ‘apostate church,’ the ‘anti-Christ,’ and a ‘false cult system.’”

Mr. Donahue, meet kettle. Kettle meet Bill Donahue. Yes, I know, Donahue is a bigot and he has the nerve to call another bat shit crazy preacher a bigot. At least Donahue is consistent, any attacks on the Papacy warrant his venom.

You all may remember Mr. Donahue, he’s the one who raises a ruckus about films that even hint that Catholicism might not be the right path to take. I found his defense of that whore Mother Theresa to be downright hilarious.

You remember Theresa right? The one who thought that suffering was the way to Christ? She took all that money that was donated and created an order of nuns who believe this crazy crap.

This whole thing is getting to be farcical now. I’m waiting for one of the other so called ‘Christians’ to come out with an end-times prophesy soon.
